As 2015 comes to a close, I thought that it was very important for me to reflect on the progress that my blog has made. When I first started PinchMeTwice, I was using this blog as a way to push myself to cook at home more, as well as monitor the progression of my baking and cooking skills.
Prior to starting this blog, I would eat out way more than I should, and I packed on the pounds as a result. 3 months after this blog began I started my journey to lose weight. And although many of the recipes I post are not exactly healthy, cooking at home has allowed me to monitor my food intake better, as well as lose almost 40lbs this year. I would encourage anyone to make the effort to prepare their food at home instead of getting take-out, because it is well worth it.
